No arts from me lately guys, sorry ;_; I've been trying to work on a couple of pieces though, really!!! My production ethic changed drastically a couple of weeks ago because my mother brought home a little bundle of brat fur. Lately it's been work, and then coming home to said bundle clawing up my leg, clawing down my leg, and gnawing on my foot/hand despite the repetitive "no's" and growls and hisses. He's a brat really cute though.

Meet Tack. This name got endowed to him because it feels like Tack Pins when he crawls up your leg, and he sticks to your leg like Tacky Glue. There was no hesitation in agreement when I suggested it. I've gotten next to no sleep because of him

Anyways, it's been really hot these days. Blissfully hot, might I add. It's not often that we get dry weather like this, and quite a pleasant change in my opinion Vancouver's always so wet and dreary. I can tell you that I definitely needed the sunshine! I am even bronzing up quite nicely

I'm also looking forward to seeing Wall-E. I'm dragging ~afreak with me, but we haven't had time thanks to conflicting schedules. I'll hold out though! It always took me a couple weeks to see pixar's movie rather than the day of. I am excited though. Everyone keeps saying it's Pixar's best.

I think that's it. I'm pretty tired right now. But no sleep yet... (wow, DA's mood thing really is broken-- I'm not excited XD I'm sleepy!!!)

Lawl I realized I haven't updated this thing since Ota. Whoops! I think I was just too scared to update because then my punky pink journal thingie would go away. Oh well, I'll make a new one when I get a subby again. I'll probably buy one sometime in july, or I'll wait until my DA anniversary and buy one out of that.

Anyways, Otafest was pretty awesome. It was a lot different than AE, not to mention that I didn't know almost anyone so I shied away and hid behind my boyfriend most of the time ;;;... There was lots of hanging out with *crazys and ~Karasuu, and lots of drinking/sweatshopping with =jagris and co by night. I also got swamped by commissions! I really wish I could have taken more!! But thanks nontheless for everyone's support!!!

I also dragged Megan and Ashley to the Zoo ;;;; because when I heard a lot of praise about how great the zoo is, I really wanted to go!!! So many animals... we didn't get to see everything because the animals were so cute ;_; we spent a lot of time watching the sea otters ;;;; and the elephants were so cute T___T;; unfortunately the rainforest was closed because of the newborn gorilla, and the stingray exhibit since 40 of them died, suddenly.

My stay in Calgary otherwise was spent with Colin and his relatives, which was pretty awesome. I don't think we've actually spent that much time together before otherwise, so it was truly an amazing experience because personally I feel it brought us closer. I luffs him so much~

Getting back to Vancouver was, well, okay. It was back to work (ugh) and back to life's frustrations haha. The frustration of retail came back, especially, and taking care of doujinshi preorders will finally free up soon so hopefully I can get my behind back on track to websites and portfolios. There was also the saving grace of hanging out with Betty-- we had stupid smash brothers fun, and played mario kart with Colin. Then we went cosplay shopping and since it was a beautiful day that day, we ran around downtown vancouver. I also went to Eat! Vancouver recently-- that was a lot of fun! Especially the beer garden.
